1. Americans spend approximately $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart every day. This works out to a profit of $20,928 every minute for Wal-Mart!
2. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.
3. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target + Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.
5. Wal-Mart the world's largest private employer with 1.6 million employees, and the vast majority of them speak English.
6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world.
7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined, and keep in mind, that Wal-Mart did this in only fifteen years, and during this same time period, 31 big supermarket chains filed bankruptcy.
8. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.
9. Wal-Mart has 3,900 stores in the USA today, and 1,906 of which are Super Centers, which is 1,000 more than it had five years ago.
10. In 2011, 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences occured at Wal-Mart stores compared to Earth's population of approximately 6.5 Billion.
11. 90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart.
Why don't we fire everyone in the White House and the U.S. Congress, and instead hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the badly ailing U.S. economy? They obviously would do a far superior job compared to the current bureaucrats & politicians in Washington, D.C., who are only good in running their mouths, playing dirty politics, and performing character assassination of one another and their political enemies.
As far as today's Washington D.C. bureaucrats and politicians are concerned, it is has become glaringly obvious that majority of them, if not all, are nothing but highly-paid worthless pieces of dead wood!
The present administration/government has terrible failed in practically every "government service" it is supposed to deliver.
Except for a token few, the only thing majority in the Government -- [from the federal all the way down to the local government] -- have really proven to be good at are: misappropriating public resources, wastefully spending taxpayers' money, and generously lining bureaucrats' and politicians' pockets while doing mainly nothing but running their mouths and making sure that they and their political party's candidates get elected/reelected in the next election!
Considering the following examples:
1) The U.S.Postal Service is going broke.
2) The Social Security System is going broke.
3) Fannie, Ginnie Mae and Freddie Mac are now broke.
4) The War on Poverty spends about $1 trillion of taxpayers' funds to supposedly combat poverty but there are now more Americans below the poverty line.
5) Medicare and Medicaid are going broke.
6) The Department of Energy, which was created to supposed lessen U.S. dependence on foreign oil, now has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year, but the U.S. imports more oil than ever.
Today's U.S. government/present administration's overall job performance if assigned a letter grade is a big, fat "F".
Obama is the first U.S. President whose overall job approval rating dropped to below 50% after only a few months in office, and has remained at below 50% up to the present, while Congress has fared even worse with a current dismal 21% job approval rating!
