A shipbuilder in France and one in Monaco joined hands to build this yacht: the Wally et Hermes. It measures 58 meters [174 feet] long and 38 meters [114 feet] wide. The yacht has an area of 3400 sq. meters [10,200 sq. feet]. It has staterooms for 12 passengers and a crew of 20. The yacht is "green" [energy efficient]. Equipped with 900 sq. meters [2700 sq feet] of solar panels with a daily output of 500 kilowatts, it translates to 20 to 30% savings in fuel use and 40 to 50% electricity consumption.
