The World’s Largest Army

Did you know that the U.S.A. has the world's largest civilian (non-military) army? Yes, the number of licensed American hunters make America a nation with the world's largest civilian army!

Check out the following interesting facts.

There are currently over 600,000 hunting licenses issued in the state of Wisconsin alone. That number makes it the eighth largest non-military army in the world. Wisconsin has more armed men than Iran; and more than France and Germany combined.

But Wisconsin's number pales in comparison to the: 750,000 licensed hunters in Pennsylvania and the 700,000 in Michigan.

Toss in the 250,000 licensed hunters in West Virginia for a total of 2.3 million hunters in the 4 states alone.

The point? With that kind of home-grown firepower properly harnessed and used, America should be safe from foreign invasion.

Hunting should not be just a way to fill the freezer, but also a potent tool in implementing national security.

A possible [and probably the "true"] reason why gun control advocates and America's enemies, domestic and foreign, want guns taken away from every private U.S. citizen is because of the above potential capability.
