This is a true story by Rick Mathes, a well-known leader in American prison ministry.
During an annual training session required of all who conduct a so-called "prison ministry" to maintain one's state prison security clearance, there were three speakers -- a Roman Catholic priest, a Protestant minister, and an Islamic imam -- who conducted a "diversification seminar". Each person presented his particular religious group's main beliefs and doctrines. The imam gave a great presentation, complete with video, about the basic beliefs of Islam.
After the three presentations, time was provided for an open forum. I directed my questions mainly to the Moslem as follows: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, did I correctly hear and understand you say that Islam teaches that, every Moslem is commanded to kill all infidels to assure a Moslem a place in heaven? If that is the case, can you please give me the Islamic definition of an 'infidel'?"
Without any hesitation, the imam replied, "Yes, you understood correctly that Islam teaches that all infidels who refuse to convert to Islam must be killed. And the Islamic definition of an infidel is anyone who is not a Moslem, who refuses to accept the beliefs and teachings of Islam, and refuses to become a Moslem!"
Then I asked, "Again, just so I properly heard and fully understand, did I hear you also say during your presentation that the command has been given by Allah to kill all infidels?"
The imam confirmed that I heard and understood his statement correctly, "Yes, that is correct."
I then asked, 'Well, Sir, which would make more sense to you -- your Allah, who tells you to kill non-Moslems, who refuse to convert to Islam, in order for you to have a place in heaven, OR my Jesus who tells everyone, including you and me, that He loves and wants all, including both of us, to be in heaven, and all that He requires is for all of us, including you and me, to believe in Him and love Him, and for everyone, again including you and me, to love one another?"
The entire room fell very silent, a pin drop could be heard. The imam just completely ignored my last question.
The organizers and promoters of the 'diversification' training seminar were obviously not happy with the questions which I asked the imam.
In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President! I think everyone in the WORLD!!! should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!
