Saul Alinsky is dead but his ideas and writings are very much "alive" and have highly influenced several people in leadership positions in the USA and the world today.  Alinsky's USA admirers include Hillary Clinton and Barack 

Obama. 

Hillary Clinton even wrote her undergraduate college thesis based on Saul Alinsky's ideas and writings, and Barack Obama's books referred to Saul Alinsky, his ideas and writings.

Saul Alinsky's ideas and writings, in turn, were strongly influenced by Vladimir Lenin and Lenin's scheme of world conquest by Communism which Sam Alinsky summarized in his "8 levels of control on how to create a Socialist state" as follows: 

1) Control healthcare  and you control the people.

2) Control poverty  by increasing the poverty level to the highest possible level because poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if everything is provided free for them [at taxpayers' expense]. 

3) Control debt  by increasing the national debt to an unsustainable level so taxes can be increased and by increasing taxation to an unbearable level to produce more poverty.  

4) Control guns by removing people's right to carry guns and their ability to defend themselves from predators [which includes the government] to create a police state.

5) Control social welfare by encouraging social parasitism and total dependence on government for one's basic needs: clothing, food, housing (shelter) without working. 

6) Control education & information by dictating what is taught in schools and what people listen to and read. 

7) Control religion by completely banning and outlawing God in public places -- public buildings, public schools, etc.. 

8) Control social classes by dividing people into two distinct groups: the wealthy and the poor, and by pitting one group against the other to cause discontent by "redistributing" the wealthy's earned wealth and giving unearned wealth to the poor.

Today, the above is exactly what is happening in the USA.    

Josef Stalin called converts to Communism [Socialism] -- such as, Saul Alinsky and his disciples -- useful idiots because the useful idiots have helped to destroy every nation where they have seized power and control.
