Iran Backs Assad With Call For Terror Wave On West

Iran's Supreme Leader has ordered the country's Revolutionary Guards to intensify its campaign of terror attacks against the West and its allies in retaliation for supporting the overthrow of President Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

According to Western intelligence officials, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei gave the order to the elite Quds Force unit following a recent emergency meeting of Iran's National Security Council in Tehran held to discuss a specially-commissioned report into the implications for Iran of the Assad regime's overthrow. ...

The report, which was personally commissioned by Mr. Khamenei, concluded that Iran's national interests were being threatened by a combination of the U.N. sanctions imposed over Iran's nuclear programme and the West's continuing support for Syrian opposition groups attempting to overthrow the Syrian government. –By Con Coughlin/Washington Times/August 22, 2012

Cause for Alarm? DNC Featuring Muslim Program

The Democratic National Convention will feature a three-day series of events catering to Muslims.

According to Redstate.com, the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs is coordinating the program titled, "Jumah at the DNC."

The events, which are expected to draw up to 20,000 Muslims, will include everything from prayer, to a regal banquet and a cultural festival.

BIMA says they are using the events to attract attention to the plight of Muslims in America and that they all the events they are planning are non-political.

"We hope our people will leave feeling rewarded about who they are and what their issues are and have a candidate checklist," BIMA spokesman Jibril Hough told the Charlotte Observer. –CBN/August 23, 2012

20,000 Muslims Meeting In Charlotte for Democratic National Convention

The Democratic National Convention is scheduled to start on Tuesday, September 4 at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina.  If you look at the list of scheduled speakers, you will quickly realize that the convention is more of a liberal progressive convention than anything else.

But were you aware that just prior to the DNC in Charlotte, about 20,000 Muslims are expected to gather in Charlotte for the Friday or Jumah Prayer?  The event is being organized by the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA).  The overall event is planned for Friday, August 31 and Saturday, September 1.

Two of the key organizers of the event are Jibril Hough and Imam Siraj Wahhaj.  Wahhaj is the imam of a mosque in Brooklyn, New York has been tied to Muslim terrorists.  He served as a character witness for Omar Abdel Rahman, the man convicted of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.  Some authorities believe Wahhaj may actually have been a co-conspirator in the bombing, but has not been charged with anything yet.  A number of sources report that when asked what he thought of America, Wahhaj responded: “a garbage can… filthy, filthy and sick;”  He was also quoted in 1995 as saying that it is the duty of Muslims to replace the U.S. Constitution with the Quran.

Jibril Hough, the other organizer of the Charlotte event is the leader of the Islamic Center of Charlotte which is a Sunni mosque.  The Justice Department has the owners of the Charlotte mosque, the North American Islamic Trust, listed at “unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terror finance case in U.S. history.”  They are also suspected of being a front for the Muslim Brotherhood in America and Hamas.

One of the events scheduled is an Islamic gathering called the Islamic Cultural & Fun Fest.   Part of this Islamic culture gathering is a TownHall Issues Conference.  The TowhHall will cover a number of topics including anti-Sharia, Patriot Act, Islamaphobia, National Defense Authorization Act and Middle Eastern Crisis.

According to BIMA, the goal of the Muslim event is to convince the nation and world that they are a peaceful religion and that no one should fear them or their ways of life.  They also wanted to make political leaders both here and abroad aware of how they are being treated here in America.

From what I have been able to gather from reading a number of accounts of the Muslim conference is that the Democratic National Committee either approved of the event or gave their blessings to the event being held just prior to their convention.  Considering the fact that the DNC rejected having a Catholic leader present a prayer at their convention but they have given their blessing to this Jummah in Charlotte, it should reveal to everyone just what the Democratic platform really is. –Godfather Politics/August 27, 2012
