Woody Allen, Pedro Almodovar and Martin Scorsese have "demanded the immediate release" of fellow filmmaker Roman Polanski, who was arrested in Switzerland on a U.S. arrest warrant related to a 1977 child sex charge. Hold on here Hollyweed? Polanski must be returned to the U.S. to face his sentencing and prison time. Molesting a child in any way is just wrong! No matter how many years may have past, like murder, the case shouldn’t be closed until the individual is sentenced, pictured, finger printed, DNA extracted, booked and placed on the national sex offenders registry for life. I will never buy or watch another film by this director until he has paid his debt in full.
Lets face it, oil is the world’s economic currency. Any country, specially countries that are the world’s enemy, will always hold the trump card. We need oil, they have an abundance, and more than likely we will have to sleep with the enemy in order to keep the world’s economic system going. Otherwise, life could come to a stand still. Like it or not, Iran and neighboring countries that have a vast reserve of oil will control our lives and standard of living unless America becomes less dependant on their oil gold. Unfortunately, American’s will always be a slave to the enemy. We don’t have the balls to stand up to them!
Ann Culter, Rush Limbaugh and those like these personalities are the American version of the Taliban. If these individuals held any position of power, freedom’s we enjoy would look a whole lot different. Ann and Rush in particular are nothing more than demagogue’s who would lie to bolster their narrow minded rhetoric in order to deceive, divide and conquerer. And unfortunately, these individuals are successful at their craft of deceit.
