My Buddy Sumo

Believe it or not, my boy weights 178lbs. That’s right, 178lbs! … he’s a BIG boy! Even the vet couldn’t believe his weight. At first the vet thought that I was feeding Sumo way to much and suggested putting him on a diet, as well as a twice a day walking schedule which I complied with. Well, Sumo’s been on a diet for the last two years along with his daily exercise, but hasn’t lost a pound. At his last vet visit it was determined that he’s in perfect health and that I could discontinue his weight watcher’s diet, however continue his daily walking routine. I’ve decided to continue the same schedule … if it don’t need fixing, don’t fix it!

Sumo LOVES his toys, chasing squrals, car riding, and hanging out at the doggy park. He came into my life seven years … was a birthday gift from my life-time partner, John. Sumo and I have been through a lot, but if it wasn’t for his companionship and unconditional love it would have been difficult for me to get through the darkest year (2006) of my life … Sumo is my closest buddy and companion.

My Extended Family

Keeping It Simple

Blogging on Yahoo! became such a hassle, not only for those of you who wanted to view my blog site, but for me as well. It’s not a simple format and you are not able to keep everything in one place. For example, you blog on Yahoo!. If you want to put pictures or whatever on your site you have to go to another site, etc. Plus, the complaints about not being able to view my blog were overwhelming … yup!, you have to become a member of Yahoo! in order to view any blog. And understandably a lot of you aren’t or don’t want to become members just to view my blog.

Well, I like to keep things simple, therefore I went in search of a more simpler format where I could have everything I wanted to share in one place and where my friends don’t have to sign up for one thing or another in order to read my blog. Thank you Robyn for introducing me to this new blog site … I love it! So, here it is! It’s easy, just bookmark it, and when you want to see what’s going on in my life all you have to do is point and click, bam!, you’re ready to read. Oh, and feel free to add your comments and thoughts too. Enjoy!
