Hi, everyone! The 2008 election has me very worried because there are so many things to consider. For example, character, integrity, and honesty. Do they matter anymore? I hope voters will open their eyes.
About a year ago, I was all for Obama. But since then, I have changed my mind three times. I have also watched the various TV news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this has driven my husband crazy. But, I have felt very little "middle ground" to work with in viewing MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, and the other TV network's news.
About six months ago, one question which has bugged me has been: "where has all of Obama's really money come from?"
My husband and I have four daughters whom we sent to college. We are middle class, and money has been tight. We (my husband and I as well as my girls) have worked hard, and there were lots of student loans.
Then, I started looking into Obama's life by reading various sources.
Around 1979, Obama started college at Occidental in California He has been very open about his two years at Occidental. He claimed that he tried all kinds of drugs and "wasted a lot of his time", and even though he had a brilliant mind, he did not really apply himself to his studies. 'Barry' (the name he preferred to use as a young undergraduate) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, who were both Muslims and who were born and raised in Pakistan.
During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made an 'around the world' trip stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, making a stop in Hyderabad in India, spending three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with one of his roommates' family, and then finally going off to Africa to visit his father's family.
My question is: where did he get the money for the trip? He must have had a rich source. Neither I and my husband nor any one of my children would have had money for such a trip when they where in college.
When he came back to the USA, he started school at Columbia University in New York. It is at this time that he wanted everyone to call him Barack instead of Barry. And of course, everyone knows that the tuition at Columbia is not cheap, to say the least. Again, where did he get the money for tuition and other expenses? Student loans? Maybe.
After Columbia, he went to Chicago to work as a community organizer for an annual pay of $12,000.00 a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York where he was already living. Reportedly, 'by chance', he met Antoine 'Tony' Rezko, an Arab born in Aleppo, Syria, and a real estate developer in Chicago. (According to recent news report, Rezko has been convicted of fraud and bribery. Rezko, was also previously named "Entrepreneur of the Decade" by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association.) About two years later, Obama entered Harvard Law School. Again, everyone knows that tuition in Harvard Law School is not cheap? Again, where did he get the money for Law School? More student loans?
After Law School, he went back to Chicago, where Rezko offered him a job, but which he turned down. Instead, he took a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. But it is interesting to note that they represented 'Rezar', Rezko's firm.
Rezko was one of Obama's known major financial contributors when he first ran for public office. In 2003, Rezko also threw an early fundraiser for Obama which The Chicago Tribune reporter, David Mendelland, claimed was instrumental in providing Obama with 'seed money' for his run for the U.S. Senate.
In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in the Kenwoood district of Chicago for $1.65 million (which was less than the original asking price). If Obama had all the "student loans", once more where did he get the money for the million-dollar property?
On the same day that the Obamas got their property, Rezko's wife, Rita, reportedly purchased the adjoining empty lot. The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born billionaire, loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.
Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett, who was Michelle Obama's boss, is now one of Obama's chief advisors, and Obama allegedly does not make any major decisions without first talking to Jarrett.
Who is Valerie Jarrett really? She is an Iranian born in Shiraz, Iran. Do I see a pattern here? Or am I just making silly connections?
On May 10, 2008, The New York Times reported that Robert Malley, an advisor to Obama, was 'sacked' after the press found out he was having regular contacts with Hamas, which controls Gaza and which is connected with Iran.
And recently buried towards the back part of several US newspapers was an article stating that Iraqi news reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq in September, he asked the Iraqi leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected US President, and he will "take care of things".
And by the way, remember the college roommates from Pakistan? They are in charge of generating the 'small' internet campaign contributions for Obama. Where is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this country? Or could it be from the Middle East?
On September 7, 2008, The Washington Post posted an Obama verbal slip that was made during a TV interview with George Stephanopoulos on "This Week". In talking about his religion, Obama said, "...My Muslim faith...' When Stephanopoulos tried to clarify the slip-of-the-tongue, Obama said that he made a mistake; he meant "Christianity". Was it really a mistake?
Also, according to The Daily News, Obama visited Pakistan in 1981; The Washington Times also said so on September 7, 2008, and The New York Times on May 10, 2008.
All of the above information are available in the internet. Anyone can check and confirm them. They are even on Wikipedia under Barack Obama; Tony Rezko; Valerie Jarrett.
After discovering all of the above bits of information, for some reason, the thought which has kept buzzing in my mind is: "Beware of the enemy from within!"
