George Carlin’s solution to save gas is to cut the amount of gas usage.
One of the best ways to decrease the use of so much gas is to deport the 11 million illegal immigrants in this country! That would be 11 million less people using gas, and the price of gas would (should) come down.
Next, bring our troops home from Iraq to guard the borders.
When they catch any illegal immigrant crossing the border, they should hand him a canteen, a rifle, and some ammo; ship him to Iraq; and tell him that if he wants to become an American, he must first serve a tour in the military. Give him a soldier’s pay while he’s there and tax him on it.
After his tour, he may be allowed to become a legal immigrant since he has defended this country.
He should then also be registered to be taxed just like any legal resident.
If he refuses to serve and agree to the above conditions, ship him to Iraq anyway without the canteen, rifle or ammo.
This should deter aliens from illegally immigrating, and should provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the illegal immigration problem.
